Rick DuBay has tremendous knowledge and experience in training horses of all ages and multiple disciplines. He is especially known for giving young horses an “extremely solid foundation”. His customers consistently report that when their horses are in training with Rick, they are ridden, worked, and know their manners. He has a “one of a kind skill” at matching horses with their riders, which has proven to be successful at world class events, such as The American Quarter Horse Congress, The National Cutting Horse Futurity, and NCHA Eastern National Championships. Phoenix Farms' Family Owned, Fonda Doc, earns the very prestigious National Title of Open Versatility Champion Horse, for the National FQHR.

Please check out the standings in the NCHA of the Phoenix Farms Family, by going to National Cutting Horse Association, click on Affiliates and then go to: Ontario Cutting Horse Association and Great Lakes Cutting Horse Association (Michigan).

The most recent credit to Rick's resume includes the achievement of "High Point Horse and Versatility Horse in the Open Division at the 2005 FQHR National Show in Nebraska .
Rick rode 14 year old gelding, Fonda Doc, to these honors.
